Woy Magazine aims to serve as a bridge between Haitians in Haiti and Haitians in the diaspora. Our content is available in both English and Kreyòl so that the information we publish is accessible to Haitians around the world. Our bi-weekly newsletter offers reliable summarizing and analysis of Haiti news for anybody seeking to connect with Haiti but does not know where or how to begin.
Woy Magazine is a reconciliation project between Haitians in Haiti and those in the diaspora. Remaining in dialogue with each other and uplifting each other’s stories allows us to remain in solidarity with each other, organize toward a hopeful future, and preserve our culture. Woy Magazine publishes content by Haitians and people of Haitian descent from around the world who seek to fight against the ills of colonialism and imperialism in our country and to find new ways forward together.
Woy Magazine has been capturing Haitian and Haitian American perspectives for the past ten years, chronicling where we are geographically, politically, and spiritually through articles, a biweekly newsletter, and multimedia projects. May this platform be a testament to the strength of Haitian creativity, Haitian resistance, Haitian love, Haitian innovation, Haitian pain, and Haitian joys.

Nathalie ‘Talie’ Cerin is one of the co-founders of Woy Magazine and serves as the Lead Editor. Talie is a Philadelphia-based singer-songwriter and works in Arts Education in North Philly. She holds a master’s degree in Multicultural Education.
